Parking in front of the Finikes campingsite-Close to Paradise Resort
The weather forecast is unsettled, perhaps with a light shower.
But that won't stop us from hiking. Bring rain clothing, just in case.....

We start from the parking in front of the Finikes campingsite close to Paradise Resort.
We cross the road and follow the tar road to Kamaria.
Before Kamaria we turn left and circle the village in a wide arc, then we go uphill towards Evangelismos.
After about 5.7 km we do our usual banana break.
Before Evangelismos we turn right and go back down towards Foinikounta long the campingsite Amos and a piece of beach, back to the campingsite of Finikes.
There is a coffee shop approximately 200 meters away across the street where we can have a drink!
The walkability is good, some ups and downs like usual but don't worry it's not considered a hard walk.

The chronicle of today
Finally, after two Saturdays of bad weather that forced us to cancel our walks, today, a day that was not very sunny but without rain, welcomed 29 Freewalkers and one dog.
It was a beautiful and easy walk that took us to the hills above Finikounda with stunning views of the sea.
At the end, after a short but picturesque stretch on the beach, we went for a drink together, as it is tradition, in a Café-Bar on the main road to Finikounda.
See you next Saturday, 21st of January, at 10 am with two walks to choose from.
The first one, a little bit more challenging, we'll meet at the church above Kalamaki beach near Vasilitsi, and for the second one, we will meet in Longa near the health centre.
