Yamia near the church
We’ll start the walk at 10.00 in Yamia near the church.
Today’s walk will take us high into the mountains.
We’ll enjoy beautiful views, both on Finikounta as well as on Chrysokellaria and surroundings. Although the walk is not too long, it can be challenging because of the steep paths we’ll climb.
Uphill it can be quite windy, so bring some warm clothes.
Afterwards we can join for a coffee or drink, either in Yamia or Charakopio.
This depends of the opening of the Kafeneion in Yamia.

The chronicle of today
Although it was still raining at 8:00 a.m., that didn't stop 16 Freewalkers from driving to Yamia to walk. And of course, Freewalker dog Emy joined us. It was a beautiful walk, a bit slippery here and there. Fortunately, the sun came out.
The icing on the cake was the view from the church above Chrysokellaria at over 400 meters altitude.
