04-04-2026 Chomatero-Klisoura-Mistraki

The heavy rainfall over the last few days has caused rivers to swell and flooded several areas.
As for our walk, even if the weather were to improve on Saturday, all this water may have made certain sections impossible, difficult or unsafe.
We do not wish to cause any inconvenience or put our dear Freewalkers at risk, and so we are forced to cancel our walk.
We will therefore meet on Saturday 11th of April at 10 am at the church in Vigla.

We start at the church in Chomatero and walk to the Monastery Grivitsanis. This monastery was renovated and so we try to get the key to look inside. Then we walk back a bit and walk along the old water mills to Klisoura, where we will have a break at the church. After the break we walk downhill, cross a small river and walk uphill to Mistraki, where we have another short break. Walking downhill from Mistraki we have to be careful because of the rolling stones. Back to Chomatero we can have a drink at the cafeneion "To Steki Tis Eleni".
